hello! yesterday was fun (: excluding school of course.
a math as a killer, mrs _ was going so fast that when i was copying down the solution to question one, she was already at question two. it's not fair that she has such a good brain you know, tsk.
the last period of school was fun, cos it was english and mrs _ decided not to teach. but she came into class. damn it. we played bridge, haha really cool and exciting games. at the end of the lesson when she stood in front of the class to say goodbye, she spotted the cards and,
"-points- are those cards?!"
"uh, no?" i said sarcastically.
cards are cards la. i slap a ace of spades right into your face and you still ask if those are cards. wth?
gam·ble Audio Help /ˈgæm bəl/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[gam-buh l] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation verb, -bled, -bling, noun –verb (used without object) 1. | to play at any game of chance for money or other stakes. | 2. | to stake or risk money, or anything of value, on the outcome of something involving chance: to gamble on a toss of the dice. | –verb (used with object) 3. | to lose or squander by betting (usually fol. by away): He gambled all his hard-earned money away in one night. | 4. | to wager or risk (money or something else of value): to gamble one's freedom. | 5. | to take a chance on; venture; risk: I'm gambling that our new store will be a success. | –noun 6. | any matter or thing involving risk or hazardous uncertainty. | 7. | a venture in a game of chance for stakes, esp. for high stakes. |
thus, the school should allow us to play cards.
choir after school, and there was the re-shuffling of the sec ones. haha there was something really amusing,
"omg. reshuffling sec ones."
"yeah so?"
"what if _ comes into alto one?!"
"OMG!"
and so we sat in a circle and crossed our fingers so tightly that certain things would remain the way they are. hahaha
miss lim talked to us. frightening. it's our last chance and we gotta do it right. after that half an hour of vocal production with the sec ones, i think they're not that bad? okay then one and a half hours of PLAYING!
played monkey and captain's ball. so funny. cos we scream so much lol. was really fun, jeanette's friend emily from netball joined us. lol so pro la. she just appears out from nowhere and intercepts the ball.
then me and jeanette went to the netball court and took 15-20 minutes to shoot one goal in! OMG SO PATHETIC RIGHT? I KNOW.
"eh jeanette! if we cant shoot in one goal, we cant go home hor." lol.
planetshakers after that! it was not bad, but i think compared to the 2006 one that i went to, it was not as good. sigh, where's the big floor in front? where's the bungee jumping? and i didnt like the fact that we were sitting behind some adults, who turned around to stare at us whenever we screamed like mad. they even covered their ears la WTH! it got pretty boring at some parts, and believe it or not i fell asleep three times. twice while standing up o.o but still not bad la haha. "one way" never sounded so good before, being played after all the slow songs. songs not bad, and especially the last part everyone was hyped up and jumping so much the platforms beneath us threatened to break.
jeanette's parents drove us to eat dinner at this hip place. i didnt know it was in pasir ris, jeanette went "ang mo kio la!" and i went "huh really ah." haha. yay it was really nice. and i reached home at midnight. whooo
"mok zi kong!" LOL.
