i'm back! haha hello this post is actly 4 days late but never mind. went to Pahang, Malaysia for mission trip 23-26th. it was really a blast and a meaningful memorable christmas.

went to different kampungs and generally did what we could to bless the people there. played with the kids.. games like monkey, catching, duckduckgoose, it was amazing seeing how contented they really can get playing simple games, twisted ballons for them, sang songs. we also helped out in preparing meals (wow for the first time i plucked 'tao geh' tails.. huh you cant eat the tails?) served food for the people there haha serving is fun- "come on people express express" lol.

went there and served, and took back so much from this whole second mission trip too. the main thing that i really couldnt get in the beginning is the children just enjoying everything that comes their way, and that they really can smile genuinely and have fun despite their (really really really really really dirty) living conditions. they'll be contented kicking a plastic ball all around the place, just running around crazily. it wasnt hard to love the people there really. the kids are adoroble with gentle but eager-looking eyes. they're shy, but yet curious at the same time haha quite funny actly.

oh, how bad are their conditions? no electricity, no tapped water, houses made of wood, some houses' roofs looked really dangerous to me. confession: i seriously had a phobia that some roof could collapse on me sooner or later o.o anyway, dirt roads there, naked children, and you see chickens and (flea-intested) dogs walking all around.

another thing that struck and humbled me was that some people, esp village chiefs would choose to believe in christ despite the pressure they're receiving from the whole country and even against the (tsk) money politics used by the gvmt. like omg wow that's really cool. something must have had moved within them that they became so convicted and chose to take that step of faith. awesome God man!

ALSO, i had an awesome team. hahaha funny people everywhere never fail to make me laugh. they were all cool, and talented in their own special way which everyone blessed the group some way or another (: had lots of fun over there too- screaming at frogs and monkeys, tying pigtails, eating with hands, tree toilets, making our own interesting videos, laughing at each other etc haha. new experiences la. interesting rooms at an inn, the toilet had a damn freaky chain hanging from the wall........ roomed with shawn shi rui, eli, hui ying, a bear and a gingi which we had fun disturbing. haha. interesting van i love the wind coming in from the windows when it moves (yeah it's so cool okay i loved it so much i really wanted to hang my head out of the window and stick my tongue out like a dog lol) we really squeezed into the van "ooh i feel so cosy". 5 minutes later "okay i think i feel claustrophobic" LOL.

credits to jm for these photos here. haha cant wait for other pictures to be uploaded. anyway we came back on the 26th cos 11 out of the 15 people fell sick. really really sick the worst i felt in my life i think threw up 9 times on and off fever body aches everywhere feeling flushed lightheaded gonna faint feelings i thought i was gonna die in Malaysia my goodness so scary. thank God really now everyone's fine haha. so yeah it was a great trip!

anywayyyyyyyyyy, i've been really stoning at home since the day i came back. i'm so bored i wanna cry i'm gonna start talking to the fridge or something.

1) i've been stalking people on fb hahaha unfortunately some people made their acc friends only ):
2) my brother has a blog now omg scary he's becoming ITsavy dammit
3) i'm grounded on new year's eve OMG I'M REALLY GONNA WITHER AT HOME o.O wth am i gonna do?!?! you know on tv they keep screaming "on the last second of 2008... where will you be?!" i'm gonna be freaking at home. and my parents dont even give me a reason why they're grounding me,

"eh so we celebrate the new year at home?"
"no. you can watch tv i'm going to sleep"

-.- sooooooo, stop asking me to go out on 31st you're gonna make me more depressed sob sob sob omgggggg. happy celebrating all you people be nice dont get too drunk dont get pregnant beware of people with their cameras hahaha
